Rental store & inquiry

Short answer: You send a non-binding inquiry via the store. We check availability and logistics and send you an individual offer within 24 hours, which you then confirm.

How does event rental work?

With event rental, you can hire complete equipment for events – from chairs, tables and table linen to glasses and china. This way you save on acquisition costs and receive professionally maintained rental items – suitable for your event.

Which products can I rent from Munich Event Rent?

Our range includes chairs, tables, bar tables, bar stools, table linen, covers, glasses, china, cutlery and much more. We use it to fully equip business events, trade fairs, weddings and private parties in and around Munich.

How does the rental process work?

You select items in the online store or send an inquiry (also possible by email/WhatsApp/phone). You will then receive an offer immediately. After confirmation, we will take care of delivery, optional assembly and collection.

Is the request via the store binding?

No. This is a non-binding inquiry. It only becomes binding when you confirm our offer. So it’s completely risk-free for you.

Can I spontaneously order additional products?

If availability permits, we are happy to accept repeat orders at short notice. For larger quantities or special requests, we recommend early planning.

How early should I place my order?

The earlier, the better – this way you ensure availability and we can plan logistics and set-up optimally. Special requests (e.g. branding) are also possible with advance notice.

Is there a minimum order value?

The minimum order value is EUR 200 plus delivery/collection fee and 19% VAT.

Prices, VAT & cleaning

Short answer: The prices in the store are basic prices (up to 3 rental days). Standard cleaning (e.g. table linen/glasses) is included. Delivery/set-up/collection are not included and are calculated individually.

What are the prices in the rental store?

The prices shown in the store correspond to the basic price per product for a maximum of 3 rental days. For longer rental periods, the 4th day is charged at 25% of the basic price and each additional day at 15%. Delivery, assembly/dismantling and collection are not included. Details under delivery conditions.

Is VAT included in the prices?

Both net and gross prices are shown in the store. This enables transparency for both corporate and private customers.

Are cleaning costs included in the price?

Standard cleaning is included in the rental price (e.g. cleaning table linen, washing glasses/china). In the event of heavy soiling, damage, burn holes, breakage or missing parts, the replacement price may be charged.

Are there discounts for large quantities or longer projects?

For large quantities, recurring projects (e.g. roadshows) or longer rental periods, we are happy to check individual conditions – please contact us.

Delivery & assembly

Short answer: We deliver reliably in Munich and the surrounding area (further afield on request). Delivery costs depend on distance, quantity and scope of service. Assembly/disassembly is optional. Please specify delivery conditions (floor, elevator, routes), then we will calculate transparently.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Upon confirmation of an order, we will send an invoice to be paid by bank transfer. For new customers, we usually ask for payment before the event.

Do you deliver throughout the Munich area?

Yes, we deliver throughout the city of Munich and the surrounding area – e.g. Starnberg to Freising. However, more distant delivery locations are also possible.

Are deliveries also available outside of Munich?

We can also deliver to regions outside Munich on request. We will prepare a customized transport offer including scheduling.

What delivery times are possible?

In principle, flexible delivery times are possible – even at night, on Sundays or on public holidays. We coordinate this individually and plan reliably.

How high are the delivery costs?

The delivery costs depend on the distance, quantity and scope of service (delivery, assembly, collection). In Munich, they start from EUR 119 (incl. 19% VAT), shown transparently in the offer.

Why does the delivery cost significantly more than a parcel?

Our deliveries are usually direct trips (courier trips) – with personnel and vehicle costs. In return, you will receive your delivery reliably on the agreed date and, if desired, with assembly and transportation to the final event location.

Is the delivery made to the final destination?

The standard service is to behind the first locked door; on request, of course, to the final destination. The costs are based on the effort involved (e.g. stairs, long distances, elevator).

Do you take care of the assembly and dismantling?

Yes, we offer set-up and dismantling on request. We place tables/chairs/standing tables according to plan and ensure that everything runs smoothly – individually calculated.

Can I do the assembly myself?

Naturally. Many pieces of furniture are easy to assemble without tools. On request, we can provide brief instructions on delivery.

What happens if I need to change the delivery time or collection?

Can I collect the products myself?

Usually not. We deliver the products to the customer, set them up on request and collect them again after the event. Details under delivery conditions.

Showroom & advice

Short answer: Yes – you can make appointments in the showroom and view products live. Advice is usually included (exception: very complex project services beyond furnishing).

Where is your warehouse and showroom located?

Our warehouse and showroom are located at Forstenrieder Allee 210, Munich. Please make an appointment in advance.

Is it possible to select or view your products live?

Yes, you can view chairs, tables and material samples live in the showroom and choose the right combinations for your event.

Is there a possibility for a personal appointment?

Yes – in person in Munich or via video call. We will discuss the style, budget and logistics to suit your event.

Is the consultation charged separately?

As a rule, no. Exceptions would be very complex projects or services that go beyond pure furnishing.

Tables & table linen

Short answer: Round tables look festive and communicative, square tables are often more space-saving. For a high-quality look, we recommend molleton under the tablecloth. We will be happy to help you find the right size.

How do I find the right banquet table?

The choice depends on the type of event, number of guests and room size. Round tables are communicative, rectangular tables are suitable for rows or tables.

How many people can sit at one table?

Round (Ø 183 cm): 8-10 people. Square (183 × 76 cm): 6-8 people. We are flexible with table extensions – we are happy to calculate the setup.

Which is more space-saving, round or square tables?

Square tables are usually more space-saving, while round tables look more harmonious and encourage communication. The best choice depends on the room and atmosphere.

How do I find the right tablecloth?

The table size, style and desired overhang are decisive. A classic overhang is approx. 20-30 cm, festive floor-length.

What material should tablecloths be made of?

We mainly use cotton table linen. Cotton looks more elegant, drapes better and is more pleasant to the touch.

Should a molton always be used under the tablecloths?

Yes, we recommend Molton. It provides a softer drape, a better feel and a more stable stand for glasses.

What does “floor-length” mean for tablecloths?

For round tables, ends floor-length just above the floor (about one shoe width apart). Table legs are concealed – very elegant.

Can tablecloths rest on the floor?

Yes, possible – looks luxurious, but risk of tripping and soiling. We only recommend this after consultation and in areas without foot traffic.

Do you prefer bar tables with or without covers?

With cover: more elegant, festive. Without cover: modern, minimalist (e.g. trade fair/outdoor).

Should I choose covers in black or white?

White: classic & bright (weddings). Black: modern & elegant (business/evening events).

Chairs & bar stools

Short answer: Many chairs are stackable. We offer chair connectors for row seating. Bar stools with backrests are more comfortable for long events – without backrests they are often more space-saving.

Do you offer chair connectors?

Yes – for various models, ideal for safe row seating (e.g. lectures/events) and clean escape routing.

Are your chairs stackable?

Yes, many of our chairs are stackable. This saves space and speeds up assembly and dismantling.

With backrest: more comfort (long events). Without backrest: lighter, often stackable, space-saving (short formats).

Trade fair & branding

Short answer: We regularly supply Messe München, MOC & other venues. On request, we can implement branding/logos on selected products (please let us know in advance).

Do you also deliver to exhibition centers in Munich?

Yes, we regularly deliver to Messe München, MOC and other venues. Please clarify required access authorizations/slots in advance.

Can your products be branded or given a logo?

Yes, we can add branding or logos to selected products (e.g. reception desk/speaker’s podium). Please contact us with sufficient notice.

Can you fully equip trade fair setups (stand/check-in/lounge)?

Yes – on request, we can supply a complete setup (e.g. lounge, high tables, bar stools, reception, tableware) including coordinated logistics.

Damage & liability

Short answer: Standard cleaning is included. In the event of damage, burn holes, breakage, missing parts or heavy soiling, costs up to the replacement price may be incurred. We document fairly and transparently.

What happens in the event of damage or loss?

Please report any damage as soon as possible. Depending on the type of damage, we will charge repair costs or, in the case of total loss/missing parts, the replacement price.

What counts as heavy pollution?

Z. E.g. wax/paint, dried drinks, burn holes, mold or heavy stains that cannot be removed with standard cleaning. In such cases, additional costs may be incurred.

What is the documentation process for damage?

We inspect rental items on return and document any anomalies. If necessary, we will agree transparent replacement costs with you.

Do you recommend insurance?

For large corporate events, trade fairs or high-quality setups, organizer liability insurance can be useful. Please contact us if you have any questions.
