Munich Event Rent rents out event furniture and event equipment in Munich and the surrounding area. On this page you will find everything about how your rental works – from the request to delivery, set-up and rental period through to return, cleaning and payment – as well as answers to the most frequently asked questions.

Every venue is different. That is why we offer three delivery packages, depending on access and the service you want.

With the Comfort package, we put the services together according to your needs. We usually take the transport trolleys and boxes away again after delivery – on request we can agree this with you individually. The costs for the Standard and Comfort packages are shown individually in the quote.
Important for Basic and Standard:
- Transport trolleys and boxes stay with you during the rental period – please have storage space ready for them.
- For collection, everything must be packed ready in the boxes and on the transport trolleys, just as it was delivered. We charge for any extra work caused by goods that are not packed ready for collection.
- With Standard, the lift, doors and corridors must offer enough space for our transport trolleys. You will find the dimensions in your quote.
For an accurate calculation we need:
- the full address of the event venue
- floor, lift and lift dimensions
- access routes, stairs and any restrictions, for example delivery time windows or vehicle access
- the desired delivery and collection time
Delivery area
We deliver in Munich and the surrounding area, including:
Munich · District of Munich · Freising · Erding · Dachau · Fürstenfeldbruck · Starnberg · Miesbach · Tegernsee · Ebersberg
Deliveries to other locations are possible on request.
We also regularly supply trade fairs and congresses – for example at Messe München and the MOC event centre.
Delivery times: also in the evening, at night and at weekends
Events don’t stick to office hours. By arrangement, we also deliver in the evening, at night and at weekends – for example if a venue is only accessible outside normal operations or if set-up has to take place directly before the event starts. We agree the right time window with you individually in the quote.
Rental period and prices
The prices in the shop are base prices per piece for a rental period of up to 3 days. They are shown net and gross including 19% VAT. The following logic applies to the rental period:
- 1st to 3rd rental day: base price
- 4th rental day: an additional 25% of the base price
- from the 5th rental day: an additional 15% of the base price per day
To illustrate, here is an example with a base price of 10,00 €:

For very long rental periods, a discount on the usual price scheme may be granted – just talk to us.
Final cleaning is included in the rental price. Delivery, set-up and collection are not included and are shown in the quote according to the delivery package.
As the VAT on the delivery costs is calculated depending on the goods rented, it may be lower if goods with lower VAT rates are included. The final delivery costs are therefore only calculated and shown transparently in the quote and the invoice. They cannot become higher, only lower in your favour.
Return, cleaning and damage
Final cleaning is included in the rental price. To make the return go smoothly, these rules apply depending on the item:
Dinnerware, glassware and cutlery
Please do not wash up. Just remove large food scraps and put everything back into the boxes or glass racks it was delivered in. This also applies to buffet accessories.
Table linen, covers and apparel
Please return dry and unwashed. Normal soiling is covered by the cleaning. Heavy soiling, wax stains and holes are charged at replacement cost.
Decorations, cooling appliances and ashtrays
Please return vases and cooling appliances empty, and ashtrays emptied but not cleaned.
Breakage, loss and damage are charged at replacement cost. Details are set out in our rental conditions.
Further conditions
Minimum order value
The minimum order value is 250,00 € plus 19% VAT (297,50 €). It refers to the rental value of the items – delivery costs do not count towards it. We calculate larger orders individually.
Payment
With the order confirmation you receive an invoice, which is to be paid by bank transfer before the rental starts. Alternatively, payment by credit card via a payment link is possible – for an additional fee.
Frequently asked questions about the process, delivery and conditions
How much does delivery of event furniture in Munich cost?
Delivery with the Basic package – at ground level and step-free to behind the first door – costs from 100,00 € plus 19% VAT (119,00 €). For the Standard and Comfort packages, the price depends on the delivery situation and effort and is shown in the quote.
Do you also set up and dismantle the rental items?
Yes, with the Comfort package. We deliver right into the final event venue – regardless of stairs or access routes – and on request take care of the complete set-up and dismantling, for example of seating, tables and high tables.
Do I have to pack the rental items myself before collection?
With the Basic and Standard packages, yes: please pack everything into the boxes and onto the transport trolleys as it was delivered and have it ready for collection at the delivery point. We charge for any extra work caused by goods that are not packed ready for collection. With the Comfort package, we take care of dismantling and packing on request.
Is there a minimum order value?
Yes, it is 250,00 € plus 19% VAT (297,50 €). Delivery costs do not count towards it.
How long does the rental price apply?
The shop prices apply for up to 3 rental days. The fourth day costs an additional 25% of the base price, and each further day an additional 15%. For very long rental periods, a discount may be granted.
Do I have to return dinnerware and glassware washed?
No, final cleaning is included in the rental price. Please just remove large food scraps and put everything back into the boxes or glass racks.
When is my order binding?
Only with our order confirmation. The request and the quote are non-binding.
How can I pay?
By bank transfer on invoice before the rental starts or by credit card via a payment link for an additional fee.
Which places do you deliver to?
We deliver in Munich and the surrounding area, including the district of Munich and to Freising, Erding, Dachau, Fürstenfeldbruck, Starnberg, Miesbach, Tegernsee and Ebersberg. Deliveries to other locations are possible on request.
Do you also deliver in the evening or at weekends?
Yes. By arrangement, we also deliver and collect in the evening, at night and at weekends – for example if a venue is only accessible outside normal operations.
What happens in the event of breakage or loss?
Breakage, loss and damage are charged at replacement cost. This also applies to heavy soiling, wax stains and holes in textiles. Normal soiling is covered by the final cleaning.
How do I return tablecloths and covers?
Dry and unwashed. We take care of the cleaning – normal soiling is covered by the rental price.
Do you also provide staff, drinks or ice?
No. We rent out event furniture and event equipment. As a rule, we do not provide service staff, drinks or ice – but on request we take care of delivery, set-up and dismantling.
