At Munich Event Rent you can rent dinnerware for events in Munich and the surrounding area – from classic white porcelain for corporate events and catering to matt designer dinnerware in cream white or black for weddings and galas. We deliver dinnerware for several hundred guests, and final cleaning is included in the rental price: you only remove large food scraps, we do the washing up.

The timeless series for every occasion: dinner plate Ø 27 cm for 0,50 € plus 19% VAT (0,60 €), deep soup plate Ø 23 cm for 0,39 € plus 19% VAT (0,46 €), cake and starter plate Ø 19 cm and soup, salad and dessert bowl Ø 12 cm for 0,29 € plus 19% VAT (0,35 €) each per piece. The dinnerware is dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.

“Elegant” stoneware in matt cream white

Matt stoneware with a rim for fine dining and festive dinners: dinner plate Ø 30 cm for 1,60 € plus 19% VAT (1,90 €), dinner plate Ø 26 cm for 1,30 € plus 19% VAT (1,55 €), cake and starter plate Ø 20.5 cm for 1,10 € plus 19% VAT (1,31 €) and the high-rimmed bowl Ø 13.5 cm with 250 ml for 1,00 € plus 19% VAT (1,19 €) per piece.

“Elegant” stoneware in matt black

The same shapes in matt black create a modern contrast – especially on white table linen. Prices are the same as for the cream white version, from 1,00 € plus 19% VAT (1,19 €) per piece.

Coffee and espresso

For the coffee and cake buffet there is the 180 ml coffee cup with saucer for 0,25 € plus 19% VAT (0,30 €) each, the 310 ml coffee mug for 0,29 € plus 19% VAT (0,35 €) and the 70 ml espresso cup and espresso saucer for 0,19 € plus 19% VAT (0,23 €) each per piece.

How much does it cost to rent dinnerware in Munich?

You can rent dinnerware from 0,19 € plus 19% VAT (0,23 €) per piece for up to 3 rental days, final cleaning included.

Example: A complete “classic” place setting for a menu – dinner plate, soup plate, dessert plate, cutlery set, white wine glass and all-purpose glass – costs 4,08 € plus 19% VAT (4,86 €) per guest. Delivery and return

We deliver the dinnerware securely packed in boxes. After the event, remove large food scraps and put the dinnerware back into the boxes – no washing up needed, we take care of the final cleaning. Expert tip from Munich Event Rent

Order 5 to 10 per cent more plates than the number of guests expected and count dessert and cake plates separately – a second plate is often needed for dessert and coffee.

Do I have to wash the rented dinnerware?

No. Final cleaning is included in the rental price. Please just remove large food scraps and put the dinnerware back into the boxes it was delivered in.

What happens if dinnerware breaks?

Breakage and missing items are charged at replacement cost. Occasional damage is normal at events – we settle it transparently after the return.

Which dinnerware series are available?

We rent out the “classic” series in white porcelain and the “elegant” series in matt stoneware with a rim in cream white or black. There are also coffee and espresso cups and finger food dinnerware.

For how many guests can you deliver dinnerware?

We deliver dinnerware for events with several hundred guests. Availability depends on the series and the date – for large quantities we recommend sending your request early.

Is the dinnerware dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe?

Yes, both series are dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe, and the finger food bowls are also oven-safe.

Is there a minimum order value?

Yes, the minimum order value is 250,00 € plus 19% VAT (297,50 €); delivery does not count towards it. With three “classic” plates per guest, for example, you reach it from around 212 guests – or in combination with cutlery, glassware and table linen.
